Jin passed!

=)
Passed the English Content test . Yay! 1 down!
93% passed by the way ...

Luckily i wasnt in the 13 that failed tho i didnt have the time to study ...

Bottomline is , paying attention in class is so important. More important than revision.

Dang!

Jin did fine

Was pretty nervous when our tutor return us our assignment and test paper. (Math)
I did fine for both. Happy ~
My tutor said if its not well done, she will write some comments on how to improve. If its good, she will also write comments to praise ...

If she didnt write anything, that means we're safe too. She didnt write down the marks for the math assignment, but i earned myself a "not-bad!" .. I tot that was q.nice.... Buay pai, cos i got a "buay pai" remark. If i would have go 1 more step in testing my hypothesis properly, i would have gotten well-done! Ugh ... miss by a bit...

As for the test paper, none of us failed, a number of us did q. well in fact. (See how competitive we are?)... I did okay. I would have scored full marks and be top of the class if my way of expressing was better than. (no time to check la! thats y! somemore -2 leh! wasted point there ... ) Anyway , i've done my best and i did okay so i'm satisfied.

Math Pedagogical Presentation

My Wednesday Math tutorials have just started and yup, i have to report sch 8.30am on Wednesdays as well now! (9.30 Mon, 8.30 Tue , 8.30 Wed , 10.30 Thur, 8.30 Fri...) Wooo early torturing mornings.

Anyway, some of my tutorial mates did their Math Pedagogical Presentation today . Hazel was really good just now(at the end of her lesson, she gave us chocs....*ahems but seriously, its not the chocs that bribed me.) It makes me REALLY nervous now... i think they set a standard that is q. high. Hmmmmmmm zhen me ban ?! I always dont have the confidence that i can deliver a good lesson when someone is observing =/ .When we are presenting to student-teachers, we have to be really prepared. (COS, we always look into the v. small details! and today i did too when i did my feedback form for my tutorial mates. I am also being critical.)

S.T.R.E.S.S

Anyway, today our tutor mentioned that we've been good students. We printed notes, full attendance and we even make our own notes and requested for more information as compared to another programme de students(*sensitive to mention la huh...) . That adds on to my stress level lor! Everyone is so "kiasu" ! Its just not good enough to go with the wave. More! MOre! MORe! MORE! Jin needs more to stay afloat.
(Tho its kinda stress but Jin finds back the momentum that she used to have when she's in JC. =D That day Jin studied at Woodlands, she was really focused and thus productive. Good job...)

*Must praise a bit about myself la huh , so that i keep myself motivated.
Maybe reminders do help to keep me on track too. Keep the reminders floating in until i grad!
Xin ku le supervisor!

Not a matter of Pass or Fail

Recently i am seriously lack of sleep and will still be lacking of sleep for the weeks to come until yes, the reading week perhaps(if there is).

Yesterday i had my Math test, it was well, okay. I did understand what the questions were asking for, the terms used were familiar, but then, its my expression that determines my grade i guess. Oh and i am so used to "smoking", so i just hope i make sense la huh... no time to check as I was basically rushing through the paper. Being someone who is able to write pretty fast, i stopped exactly on the dot(my last full-stop) when the coordinator said :"stop writing." Hmmmm for those who wrote slower, does that mean they cannot complete the assignment? Anyway , i had Math tutorial earlier on and the tutor said that she has marked 13 scripts and out of the 13, none failed. So, she assumes that no one will fail. Therefore it is not a matter of pass or fail already isnt it ? Man, i'm really nervous and anxious to know how well or how badly i've done. Math is my favourite subject!

Yesterday when i reached home, i started working on my 2 Math assignments that was due this morning. Hmmmmm actually i've started working on the both assignments q. long ago but always didnt get to complete it. I merely sort out the thinking and everything was rather messy. Just by arranging everything neatly into systematic explanation, took me the whole night, until 1 plus am at night. Horrors to find that my printer run out of INK! And, i was rather desperate to get it printed out. (Since i have early classes at 8.30am , i have no time to print @ the lib!I n addition to that, i have 3 assignments that will be due the next day lor !) So, my kor helped me to bring all my saved docs to my cousin house... THEN! to find that the alignment all gone! So, they brought the whole printer home. So after printing and stuffs, the clock strikes 2.30am i think. I scanned through my grammar book for a while to realise that my eyelids got really heavy. In the ended, i didnt really study anything for today's test. Great! Isnt it? English somemore, not my forte.

Tho i always do last min preparation for tests, this is the first time that it is done so LAST MIN!
I read my Math textbook for the 1st time on sunday for like hmmmmm 4-5 hrs, w/o further revision, took the test on Monday.
I am now struggling to study for the Eng test, that will be held 2 hrs later. (And i am only browsing through to see how much i can capture.)
Yes, if you would have realised, my attention span is very low due to low energy level. That's why i am blogging now... no sense of urgency.

Really...
didnt i promise myself not to repeat history of doing last min work ?
I think there are just too many assignments to handle and i am really a slow worker. (My thinking process is very long, if there is any particular area that is not good, i will just stuck there forever.)

That brings me to the next point, i've wanted to start my ICT individual case study...drag and drag and the deadline is this friday. GREAT. I shall unlease the 'genius' inside me, camp in sch lib tml and complete it. Wish me luck.

Tired.

I want to remember this moment.

Its 3.45am now and i am blogging.

I have a friend whom i'm going to call him BBno.1 , is my supervisor during this difficult period of mine becos i am facing tests and overwhelmed with assignments. Bbno.1 pushes me on when i'm stressed over the amount of things i have to clear.I am not a very determined and motivated person, so i need reminders... Morning sending sms to check that i am not lazing around. Afternoon check that i am progressing and if tired, take a rest. At night check that i am still doing well. Before he sleeps, he mentioned that he will check on me in the middle of the night and thus.... Midnight, specially wake up and didnt sms me because i might be asleep, instead, came online to get me ready to sleep.

I am touched, seriously.
Appreciated.
I really want to remember this moment.

Tml BBno.1 is going to accompany me to camp @ library to study my tests.
If i get v. good grades for any of my subjects ... I'll fulfill one thing that i can do for BBno.1 and is within my control.

The way to go

Was chatting with Caleb, Irene, Amita on our way home after our SS tutorial. Caleb was saying a lot about the virtue of sharing. I agreed on that. All of us should be sharing resources and be helpful ... all get it done with and graduate.

Great that we are all helping and supporting one another...

Now i'm starting to think that my ss group is goodie.

Where's the etiquette ?

Shocking that teachers-to-be dont know the most basic library rules. Normally my lappy vol only need to be set at 2. Today, i set at 8 liao i can still here the LOUD chitters-chatters... HAIYO ... leave the discussions to UID discussion rooms lar !

Not that i prejudice ... maybe thats becos today i'm at the 'mother tongue' level .... If i knew that i would have gone to level 3. FYI , lvl 3 of the lib has a cafe and it is not as noisy as this. Now cant move le lar, very difficult to get powerpoint for lappy de. Grrr....

(I just up my lappy vol to 10)

=D
Went to Masie's place earlier on to collect my limited edi and the dvd (cd out of stock so didnt manage to get it.) Xie lar masie and jason for lup-ing all the dvd-s and limited edi stuffs for us. I like the 造型 for this album. Pretty. Makes me having the urge to change all my colours frm green to yellow... just like wad i did for fishdreamsg(frm red to yellow)

Oh oh , just now xiaoying and kris opened one of their limit edi version, so i got a glimpse of wads inside, so i intend to keep it intact. Since its already signed so no need to let JR sign le .... BUT hor, Suchin says m'sia side they ordered 18 , 1 of it had defects. It happened to tw side too ... Heh , since i not opening, i just take it that mine is perfect. HAHA

Watched half of the tw concert le , tho i'd still prefer to have SG version lar! 怎么说我都很怀念Singapore de. (AHAHHA cos i didnt go TW :P No involvement, watch also dont feel the full impact) I think i prefer listening to wad ski had recorded during SG concert(tho the bass is a bit too loud and disruptive but its still nice. AND... its in my hp, so fang bian)

And i am suay , my dvd de case crack de lor! I shld have checked properly before taking that. I really suay, just now on the table so many copies, i tio the spoilt one. SO , i gonna buy 1 to replace. Anyway initially i tot of buying 3 cds and 3 dvds... think i will only buy 2 cds afterall , will buy more dvds ba. More worthwhile. DVD version includes the cd too anyway . (SO clever of them to launch the cd version first. LOL) This time i think i wont buy as much copies as chongbai/yanweidie ba ... (hopefully...heh weak grin)

(OH btw wo jue ding and sheng ming zhong bu neng cheng shou de qing, i prefer bu neng cheng shou de qing....nice choice to put it in chongbai album! Wo jue ding sounds weird. the wei yin is not as round-ed.)

12 sept..... YAY!
i might not be able to jie ji , cos i got lessons.... SADDENED. Its my "n" times for not appearing for jie ji le =(

It is not ME ... Its the weather...

My kor said i passed the bug to him. Janice said i passed the bug to her too ... eh and many others who got close to me these few days ended up sniffing, coughing and sleeping. Maybe i did pass them the bug lar since my condition is q. bad. BUT! i think most of it got to do with the w.e.a.t.h.e.r... downpour-->Scorching sun-->downpour again-->cycle continues. If i am not wrong, there are many strangers out there are also suffering the same symtoms of flu, cough and fever. See? Its not Jin's bug spreading, its the 'showing tantrum weather' ... :P

*Jin suspects that her bug-(s) came from her mother. Cos her mum was the one who caught the bug first. Dang!

Lenovo Thinkpad T61

Bought my lappy couple of days ago. I'm such a lazy person, i really enjoy the convenience of a lappy. Years ago, no matter how heavy my toshiba was, i still "lup" it with me. After i grad frm NUS, mr toshiba decided to retire too. With the lost of mr toshiba, i feel as tho i am slightly handicapped without my lappy. Now that i've a new mr lenovo, muahahahahahahahahahaha i feel that i can just be online 24/7. Will "lup" it to school, to living room to every corner of the house and sch! (No need to confine myself in my room using that old pc.) I am very happy with mr lenovo now. See my desktop and msn messenger and eh windows' colour... All in shades of orange. Orange and black just wouldnt go wrong. Sut. Girlish yet not so. Hur ....
What makes me so happy with mr lenovo is that, my bro spotted the same lenovo-s at the IT fair and apparently i bought it at a cheaper price than that. (This shows that comex doesnt really mean it is REALLY cheap...so it's better to do prior research.) Anyway i feel that the best thing to get frm comex will always be printers. =)

Trust

Many years ago i had this particular close friend who betrayed my trust and things turn out quite badly after that. Tho when everything has resolved, it seemed to be a misunderstanding afterall since he said that his mouth was closed all along. The question within me remained as I only told one person and that was him, impossible that others got to know. Anyway, it doesnt matter now whether he did or did not betray my trust, i've already bear the consequences and being hurt tremendously. I didnt know whether a word of promise means nothing to him or its just that he couldn't be bothered that there was a degree of seriousness in it OR he wanted gains from knowing something from me. Well i ruled out the 3rd possibility cos i still think that he is not that kinda person so i think its the 2nd possibility. He might have blurt out during casual conversation without knowing the seriousness that will thus lead to it and indeed, many unhappy incidents happened. Becos of the incidents, even when we 'patched' back, its no longer the same. And now, no longer in contact.

--> I really trusted that friend of mine and think that he is not that sort who will go around gossiping but how can i trust him when info did leak out and i did really only tell him and things REALLY got worse and i am being hit the most?

Therefore, i'm very sensitive to such issues. If you want to say something about someone to another person, make sure you spell everything out without leaving any ambiguous comments w/o verification. In fact, before telling a third party, we should always remember whether or not it will have its consequences.

Oh to that i hate hypocrites too. There are people out there who think this way and acted another way.

For example: A is sick, B knows( A had already told B what sickness A is suffering from), in turn tells C about it, also quoting a prior experience so C takes it as it is fake. So C assumes that it is not true yet they stil have the cheeks to ask A how A is feeling. How hypocritical.

I find it hilarous when reading C's text this morning when i woke up : " Wah .. I just heard from B that you could foresee weeks ago you'll be sick today ye, heh.."

Reading the text gives us a few indications:
1) C is being sarcastic (Wah... Heh....)
2) C confirms that A is not sick (You could foresee weeks ago that you'll be sick today...)
Sickness is something someone cant foresee, somemore 'weeks ago'.
3) C is not concern with the health of A and the recovery of A proves the point that C confirmed that A is not sick.

Of course i didnt want to read between lines but that is the least implications i've gotten from a simple text.

To clear up misunderstandings, A decided to reply to C stating that A is really sick. C in return replied that C understands cos C has gone through it too, 'its more of the tired feeling right?'. Ahems, it seems that C is not only assuming but confirmed that A is not sick.(Feeling tired is not a sickness!) A sees no point in replying anymore.

Sometimes A wonders what B has told C exactly that leads to C's confirmation that A is really not-sick when A is. B just dont know what A meant by seriousness but A refuse to spell everything out. Perhaps B just feel that A's definition of 'seriousness' is A not feeling goodie from the comments made. But, do see a bigger picture. A sees no point in talking it out with B as B already think A is being unreasonable and couldnt be bothered by it.

This just shows how words get across, fractured.

The End.
Its raining again and i hate it.

I'm still pretty much alive...

Looking at my eyebags, its not difficult to see that yea, i'm still lacking of sleep.

Anyway, tho it has been a lack of updates here, i'm pretty much alive lar.

After 1 mth of 'back-to-school' life, i've fallen sick last weekend due to the inability to adapt to the early mornings, late nights plus the-going-hungry-everyday timetable. Its just the adjustment i need i guess.

Have been lazing around at home for several weekends, olympics-chasing at the same time. Tonight will be watching the closing as well. As usual, my favourite event is still the gymnastic(women), USA's Shawn Johnson is goodie. Table tennis is nice to watch but i dont quite like the idea of it being dominated by chinese players, not very exciting to see chn top 1,2,5 fighting among themselves w/o having any worthy opponent who has the potential to challenge them. Maybe Feng Tian Wei in the future, but heh while u're improving, others too... We never know... ball is round.

So yea, tho i still support the Singapore Team, at the same time i enjoy watching jpn's Fukuhara Ai (cos she is media attractive), Chn's Zhang Yi ning (She is really good lor!) and Kor's Kim Kyung Ah playing(her defensive skill goodie).

k my entry is kinda random... going to end it soon....

Hurray! I finally bought Fanfan's compliation - Faces of Fanfan. It has been more than a mth since the release and i just gotten it yesterday. I have all the songs since i've been collecting her cds(except for the new songs), so not really in a hurry to purchase it, hence the delay. Anyway, ya her songs are nice and soothing... =) simple YET it is not easy to sing.

k thats it for now.

I'm going to be REAL busy meeting all the proj DEADLINES starting Sep...

Looking forward to Dec... my turkey trip ...

Priceless

Didnt really blog about how i felt and what i did for my last day @ SHPS. Well, i think alot of emotions are beyond words. I received cards, hugs, farewell lunch, presents etc from colleagues, students as well as parents. I am really touched by everything that has happened and its really a blessing to meet those who i've met during my 2 years there. Last Thursday, i had a day off from NIE, i brought curry puffs back to visit my fellow ex-comrades. Then mag, the admin staff passed me a card. I find it strange as it was not address to me.

And , it is a surprise, something that is priceless.

It says :

Dear (P's name)

I wish to convey my thanks and appreciation to ms (my name) who is a dedicated and industrious teacher to class (my class). She makes classroom teaching fun and interesting. My daughter, (student's name), is full of praises for ms (my surname) , she enjoys learning in her class.Ms (my surname) is indeed a kind and wonderful teacher and is every child's dream of a teacher. Class(my class) greatly miss her. A big thank you and may the lord bless ms ( my surname)

From: (Parent's name)

My motivation to be a better person and yes, teacher. This kept me happy for days and i always find chance to share this happiness too!

Minty Green Little 'Fella'

Besides the sleeping bugs, this green fella is Jin's best travelling mate from the East to the West.

Jin's day with her 'puddies'

This, is reporter Jin. She is not a host/assistant chef/gourmet/gamer, nothing but herself. She is going to pen down her one-day gathering with her Sec Sch "puddies", famous-'ly' known to be the glamourous TLT.
Jin couldnt really remember how the word 'puddies' came about but it's definitely linked to the root word - buddy(ies). Probably someone has pronouced it wrongly and it became a joke of the 4 entire years in Jin's sec sch days and slowly it evolved into their commonly used language. Jin suspects that the person who left this 'legacy' behind, is highly possible to be Chris, the one who never fails to 'entertain' us with her unintention thoughts/talks/actions. Anywaym thats besides the point. Lets get back to the mini pre-planned gathering.
Oh ya to start off, it'll be good to name who are the puddies who were there for the gathering. Ling the social worker, Chris the property valuer and Sing the account executive. Not to forget, the multi-role reporter Jin.
Last Saturday, Jin has to wake up early to have this buffet. According to Sing, the very $ sensitive person.(eh...cos of her job hor, not character.), says that it is always more worthwhile to be there and stay throughout the whole 3 full buffet hours. Going there late will deprive us of good food. Oh btw, the buffet comes with 1 serving of buddha jump over the wall or shark's fin (choose 1 ) and the lobster dumpling. Yummy... tho i thought the lobster eh taste and looked more like big prawns. Well... lobster is kinda prawn also la huh.

Eat and eat. Jin and the rest are more interested in eating than taking photos of every single food served. So, reporter Jin only capture a few here and there. Jin's favourite is the prawns with wasabi sauce. The prawns are big and Q. It almost taste like 'fake' prawns(according to singsing... cos the prawns are too perfect to be real you see.) And most important factor, Jin loves anything that has something got to do with wasabi. Dang! Now u catch the hint? Dump her all wasabi stuffs and you'll make her happy. Easily contented. Seriously, women.

Residing at the top-est 37th storey of pan pac hotel, you get the bird's eye view of the surroundings. Now you get an idea why it is called Hai-Tien-Lo. At/On this Lo(storey), you get the spectacular view of the Hai(sea) and the vast blue Tien(sky) Again, according to Sing, when they were planning the architecture design of this restuarant, they thought of making it to rotate, so we get to enjoy 360 degrees worth of scenery while we eat.(Better than Singapore Flyer right?Haha)We can have great plannings, but doenst mean that it will be feasible/executed. Anyway, it didnt happen afterall. Unfortunately, it has got to do with some miscommmunication somewhere with the contractors. Awwwwww ...

Have a break, have a kit-kat? The slogan of this kit kat advertisment is so successful that after years and years and years and years since the broadcast, Jin can still remember the panda in the advert, inserted with this slogan and she thought it is q. rhyming and easy to remember. Anyway, yea reporter Jin tend to digress. So ya, we took photos while we are having the 'stomach' break. A small break is vital for a better indulgemce devour later on.... HAHAHAHA .

Happen to sit beside each other, Jin and Ling took q. a number of photos. They are the 2 which will not think of image just to pose for the food. Who on earth will take a photo with the prawnies in a high class restuarant? Well, they will and they did. Hur.

Tada! Even fruits are not being spared by the 2 of them. No matter wad... happiness is of utmost importance. So, watever it is, just smile it your way ! Cheers !

Well, this is NOT trying to mimick S.H.E. It is really purely a candid shot by Jin. Jin finds it nice. The position, the way they stand, hmmmm just right for the reflection. We cant see their facial expression anyway, so perhaps that add on to why Jin finds this picture nice. (Dont read too deep between lines, Jin is just trying to say that normally for candid shots, people are not ready so if there are expressions, they must be distorted.)

Group photo of the fellow puddies. What's up with the hand sign seriously? Like seriously. Sing came up with the idea tho. So yea puddies, we love each other.

This pic, looks like part of a Jap skin product commercial. What do you think?

Oh after the meal, they went to watch X-files, drank at Wang Jiao and finally to esplanade after the show...then lastly back to panpac for a drink. Yep...

Reporter Jin is tired. Think she'll end here.

For the whole canteen

My kor always say that i cook for the whole canteen when there are only 3 of us. I used to tell him that thats becos i'm too used to big family. He, too is very exaggerating when he buys "light" snacks home for the family. It turns out that it will not be "light".

A good thing about the 3 of us is that tho we may be seen as rather dependent on mummy, we can still be independent. How many of you out there will continue to cook, wash dishes, do laundry, vaccum house when ur parents are away for a short trip? Maybe for the chores, most pple will still do it but i dun think pple will cook their own dinners when ta-bao is so easily and needless to say, available. (I am refering to single-s....)

Few days ago, my kor asked me this question. He was asking why other friends of his and mine, know nothing about cooking. (minus the part on cooking instant noodles ... ahems.) I told him thats because we are expose to handling food when we were at a very young age. And then he said that our mum did not really teach us. We just hang around, talking to her while she's cooking in the kitchen. .....Hmmmmmm now i know. Its becos we're so attached to our mum and with her being a working adult, the only time we could really talk to her is when she is cooking. LOL ...SO, we build up our gossips and relationship in that stuffy kitchen of ours. Handling is really not difficult at all if u DARE to do it. The reason y i used the word DARE and bold it, is because pple always give ridiculous reason(s) on why they cant cook... Some of the reasons are :

1) I am afraid of the raw smell.(Esp seafood)
2)I dont know how to hold a knife properly, will cut myself. (Eh do u know how to hold a pencil when u were born? =O )
3) The oil will scald me. (wont die la....seriously, its not really that painful...u wont even need a plaster.)
4) I dont know how much seasoning to put. (use ur mouth to taste and nose to smell lor... thats y we had our 5 senses mah)

ok and the list goes on ... there are thousand and one reason y one doesnt like/want to do anything.

*Whipping up with a few home cooked dishes for a normal dinner is not really difficult. (lol, we're not talking abt restuarant standard or special dishes)

So........
next time round i gonna use the kitchen as a window for me to enter my children's heart&minds too. hurhurhur

We ... Wii ... Weeeee ~

Ling, Sing and Xing went to Jin's house yesterday. (woo the names rhymes.) They met at 1.15pm to buy steamboat stuffs @ the giant GIANT near Jin's place. By the time they finished marketing, its already 3pm. =O Women.

Being an experienced assistant cook and a good host, Jin marinated and got ready all the food stuffs while the rest were trying out the games. Laughters. Hur. Wii is a game full of laughters... Here are some of the photos taken using my k800. Eh oh , ya and i created a [Mii] for all of them too.

This, is how they look like when we are living in the virtual reality. Didnt manage to capture Sing's look tho. Cute right? Hurhurhur. All of them really had fun wii-ing, tho its at the expense of gettiing shoulders' ache. Anyway, its also a form of hur, exercising ah ! Jin is pretty sure that they wouldnt mind a second session anytime soon.

Tada! Jin always wants things to look organised, so the layout of the food, must be arranged neatly too! Jin's kor was saying that we had lotsa food stuffs. HAHA ! Oh and yea, the meat was really tender ! Jin was proud of it. Hey porkie meat! Thanks for being so delicious.

"Hello?"... "Harlow" ... "Wei" .... All :""Eh Jin... are u there? ! ""
Hurhurhur alright they are actually playing a game and the controller is supposedly their handphone. Dang!

Due to that ton-ing was not part of Sat's plan, Ling, Sing and Xing left Jin's house at 11.30pm after eating the dessert-mini poopers.

Tho its hard to blog everything down...

是好玩、好笑和好开心的咯!

Jin would also like to thank the trios for accompanying her while her parents are not in SG.

Leisure :: Entertainment.

Yea, finally ... this coming thur going to watch red cliff. Am always interested in the battling of the wits between the 三国. I sorta have q. a high expectation on this film after hearing so much of the reviews frm the critics. (somemore this movie ...v. heavy investment lor!)

Then, this saturday thought of getting pple to my hse to play Wii. Since i've bought the Nintendo Wii, my 2 brothers had already invited their friends over. I have not. Taking the opportunity that my parents wont be in SG this saturday, its a right time ! Probably can also eat steamboat lor. Go giant buy stuffs. (Giant is so near my hse anyway.) Didnt really want it a BIG thing. Just want a few cosy friends over. muahahaha, not to forget gossips lar... hurhurhur.

Oh and then on the 26 Jul, will be going back to panpac for buffet again. This time round, we decided to try the chinese restuarant. (Since lynn is only keen in going to keyaki, we shall go to HTL before she returns back to SG.) Probably somewhere in Aug, we'll go to yet another feast at keyaki.

Need those fun to perk me up.
Eeks somemore last night i had a bad dream. BAH! (realistic de lor)
Cant wait to leave SHPS. (eh not that i dont like the sch and its not that i am SO looking forward to my nie new life..... ITs just that, i hate to do relief ! )

ok. i shld be happy with all the upcoming activities, provided that there are no sudden disappointments. Dang!

最后的疼爱... 是手放开

Sometimes, when we are helping others to solve problems, we really get to see our own problems surfacing out. Its so frustrating when we know how to handle it as a bystander and yet getting lost when we are facing it. Why isnt things are always not as easy as it seems? Songs really reflect one's life.

I just want it simple.

(eh i really hate selfish pple. Bah ! )

sometimes we really dont need to have expectations
cos things always turn out to be opposite
and it will fall short of our expectations.

It's always easier to let go then to stubbornly clinging on.

Relaxing weekend

Few minutes ago, my bro just came in and was shocked that i am at home... To play safe, i just peek at the calendar, to double confirm that today is the youth day holiday. Dang!

Have not been updating for many weeks, so since i'm free now, i thought i would blog a little about my weekends.

On Saturday, I met Ling and went Ikea for breakfast. (To fulfill Ling's wish... haha) Hmmmmm, i thought that the french toast tasted nicer than i ate previously. Ling said that probably i'm really hungry. As usual, i do more of the talking as it seemed that i have more to update her. I'm rather impressed by the time we spent at Ikea, exchanging creative juices, buying some 有的没有的stuffs to store just in case we'll need them for doing our DIY cards. If i hadnt gotten another appointment, we'd be able to spend the entire day there. I do like that place and its near my house, but i dont like the idea of waking up early during weekends... Haha ........

After we separate ways, i went home to deposit the stuffs that Ling has returned me. By right i am meeting good friend at 2.45pm but i was still somewhere around in Tampines at 3pm. No choice and partly due to my laziness too, i took a cab down to Outram. Went for a ktv session. It has been a long time since i last sang. Not really in the singing mood for the past few mths because i am not 'updated' with the chinese pop lately. That's y, erm .... my vocals are not on form. Cant hit the slightest high note. Disappointed. Hahaha .... It was nearing the end of the session that we started to sing duets... Ha, it was indeed a right move! Kekeke, think those duets liven up our mood and our enthrusiaism. It has really been a long time since i've sang so heartily. I've recorded some of our duets... while i was listening to it, i will laugh at our ahems..... mistakes. It was a good session afterall. Good friend says it depends on who you go singing with. Laughsss, i think i get what he meant. Normally if i go in BIG group, i tend to be more 'low-profile' and quiet. Its only when i'm out with only another friend, then i am really chatty. Probably we will be going to practice the freq again this coming sat.

Oh and i realise a trend. Whenever i'm with good friend, we tend to stroll alot. From Outram, we walk to City hall for dinner, then we walked to marina sq... and to suntec ... finally walk back to the station. We walked to city hall for dinner cos the weather was good. Rather breezy. We walked ard cityhall after our meal cos we're too full. Hmmmm initially good friend wanted to go have a drink, he has his reasons to .... yep but then i didnt want to. Dont drink for the sake of drinking . Like wad good friend said, good times passes very fast. When i reached home, i think it was about to turn 12am. Unbelievable at how i spend my whole day, didnt feel tired while i'm outside..... BUT, when i reached home, i felt sleepy. Ended my fulfilling Saturday.

Sunday is strictly my family day. So, this sunday, went out with my uncle. Went to paulaner and we sat at a cosy corner. Heh being there for a couple of times, i usually get to sit outside due to the crowd. Hmmmmmm somehow i feel that its good to go during their happy hours. (2-8pm), cos its not crowded and its 1 for 1. Spent a couple of hours there and drank q. a bit. After that we went to cuppage plaza for "authentic Jap food". The one that he recommended wasnt on business so we tried another one. I learnt quite a lot from him. He really had a lot of knowlege to pass over. Hahaha. Esp Jap-related topics. After dinner, i went to my auntie's house. She prepared 1 big pot of barley. Muahahahahaha my favourite. For that barley, i dont mind stopping at her house. Didnt really stay there for q. long tho. I remembered i reached home at 11 plus pm.

Today's Monday. How nice is it that i get to rest today. Dang!

Very Random Updates

It has been a long time since i blogged. I guess, i simple lose the momentum in sitting down and typing down moments. Talking about moments, i think my memory is failing me these days. (this mth esp :P)

This, is a platform for me to refresh a little, of my recent history. (We always blog abt moments in history and not the present, time is simply too fast for us to realise that it is already yesterday ya?)

After i came back from Cambodia, i think i continued to bump around. Met Audrey during my last week of my holidays. Cant really remember the agenda as in why we met. Probably we're just out to feel the tai-tai life. We ate, ate and ate. (Ok lar, we do walked walked and walked too). She gave me quite alot of things she has gotten all the way from Taiwan. We had Lerk Thai for brunch, Haagen dazs for high tea and finally for dinner, we dine at Jack's. Cant really remember what we did, except that we went to the floating platform to collect Aud's 4 NDP tickets... Tho didnt do much, it was rather enjoyable. =)

Besides Aud, i met up with Pingping and her Xuanxuan too. Xuan2 is quite big le....(heh maybe cos i didnt have any experience with any small ones, so i didnt know that 20mths old 'baby' can be that big.) Adorable and obedient. Children are always adorable, arent they? (Muhahahaha with all the chubby baby fats. Dang!)

Within this mth, i went to Music Dreamer not once, but twice. Its really nice and relaxing, to be there listening to their voices and their always-so-entertaining jokes. (I seriously dont like their seats and their forever crowded atmosphere) After that went to Pan Pac for a drink. Was told that their lychee martini is good, so i took that. Instead of cabbing home, i took the night rider. Somehow, without my ear phones, the ride seemed much much longer.

Oh... and i've been on the Singapore Flyer, went with the school. Part of our NE workshop. Was up there with colleagues. Hmmmmm i think it can be rather boring. Probably cos the IR-s are not up yet. Nothing much to see. OR it might be because i am too familiar with the place that i grew up in. Anyway, it was still an experience nevertheless. I can go ard telling people that i've been up there, F.O.C. HA

Okays. very random. Tats a short update.

Trip To Cambodia (Updated 11/06)

PART 2:
Heh ... little progress here... Angkor Thom :) Oh btw, if u find the pictures too small, you can actually click on it to enlarge it. Enjoy!

PART 1:

I'm back from Cambodia (Siem Reap & Phnom Penh)
I have yet to compile all the photos properly.
I'll just upload the photos taken in Day 1.
I am now SO interested to know more about Cambodia's History, especially so about the Pol Pot Regime.
(Will elaborate about my trip to Cambodia probably in another few weeks' time)

I'll bump into the library to borrow a couple of books about Cambodia these few days too. I am, indeed, a history geek.

Jin's New Wallet

Price after the 20% discount: $95.
GSS is only once a year anyway and we dont change wallets every now and then.
*I can see my wallet smiling widely at me*

Finally got a grip of my new Carlo Rino wallet. Heh, bio-ed this q some time back but didnt see the need to change a wallet. Anyway, its GSS now! So, i thought if i dont buy it while it is at discounted rate, i'll nv going to change a wallet until the next sale. Its on sale everywhere. Few days ago wanted to grab it but the design i wanted is OUT OF STOCK. Oh and i think i got it at a cheaper price today(and i think they had more NEW designs lor!) They had a couple of very nice new arrivals too(and cheaper too) ,but then once i set eye on one, its hard for me to change my taste. So, in the end i bought the 'slightly older' design.

Oh and btw GUESS bags/wallets are all on 40% off !(Even the new arrivals! ) Recently i think i might be in the mood for bags. (Hmmm luckily that i do have some self-control... if not today i would be poorer by 90bucks becos of a very small Braun Buffel baobao. Heng.)

Ok and now i need to learn to save more.

Next Aim?
LV.
....Heh... but not so soon la huh.

(Oh i better go edit the 2nd lot of Cambodia photos soon before i turn lazy :) )

Enjoy-ing ~

Weather is kinda hot but then i really enjoyed my first week of holidays. Rather than slacking around, lazing at home, i've been outdoors lately. This coming Sunday I'll be flying off with Silkair, 2 hours flight before finding myself at Cambodia. After the 5-day tour, i should be busy with NIE enrolment as well as some school stuffs. YES, i still have tonnes of markings not yet done. YES, i still have to amend the Math booklets. YES, i still have to do my compo question. So, after all the fun for the first 2 weeks of my holidays, the next 2 shld be dedicated to my work-related boo boo. Wooooo... Enriching. No time to waste. Holidays are especially precious.

I hope to bring back nice photos from Cambodia =)

Maybe should start thinking of where to go this end of year le. OH... and of course, start to save up !
