Happy New Year pple !!! Wuhaha ... tho i dun really have the new year mood but yea ... there are still some things we need to do every year . LOL... i took some photos using my cammie (on my hse deco lar) ... I wont upload it so soon tho. So on the eve , i woke up early to go airport , fetch Jingru .(cos she going back JB to celebrate new year). Then went home jiu laze ard , pack room blar blar lor... At night watched the live countdown show with family. After the countdown we went to chinatown. I know it will be crowded lar , so i just bring my 7270 out instead of Mr canon


We left hse at this time.

Bought some prawns roll (its nv enough every year . All of us like to eat).Besides that , we bought Mua Chees and Flowers.

After we finish the coconut we walk back.

After pouring all out , we have 1 BIG plastic bag full of mua chees lor... i am impressed by ourselves ... to be able to squeeze so much.

Midnight shopping AGAIN .


Went to 538 first. Then i was kinda shocked that the hawker is still so 'active' when it has already past midnight.Normally this hawker center caters to the morning crowd and closes by afternoon de.

Then we looked at those ling ling long long stuffs and caught eye on the word '满'. My mother and I had been looking for something which have that word on it... AND.... WE FOUND IT.


3 for $1.50 ... so we bought 2 man-s and 1 Fu...Fu always go with Man de mah


When we walk pass these...heh heh we decided to buy some to make it as dessert on the eve ... and with Sprite that is...

After that we went to Bedok Central

Nothing much there , except for the litters... Not as exciting as 538.

Eh then we drove to 85 mkt eat supper...

We wanted to eat bak chor mee...there are 2 stalls. Both goodie but all SOLD OUT le...


Thus in the end we decided to settle on hokkien mee which took 1 hr to come.. -__-'''

Today we were preparing the 5 xiang ...


okays we need the prawns. Remove the shells . Wash and dice.


Then we need the mushrooms. Soak it in water . Dice it.


Nx meat. Well u can choose to use minced meat if u like . But for us we used wu hua rou .Same, Dice it.


Not forgetting the chestnuts !!! 'Peel' of the skin. Dice it small.


The cong will give the 5 xiang 1 more taste.

LASTLY and MOST IMPORTANTLY ,...

The skin


Mix and season all the ingredients tog and use the skin to wrap it. Steam it , make sure it is cooked liao then when want to eat de shi hou , just fry it.

Yesterday went out with my parents 'shopping' for the remaining CNY stuffs (mostly steamboat foodstuffs that we gonna eat on the eve lar) and bought 1 dozen bottles of tiger beer and bought yet another carton of soft drinks(that makes up 3 cartons liaoz!) . Then now the fridge is SO full with all the goodie good CNY food stuffs that we had to lower the temperature. Haha... anyway , it was fun last night. Reach home at 12am after like running frm supermarket to supermarket =D . From NTUC to Sheng Siong, then to another NTUC and another branch of Sheng Siong.Bought another new pair of lanterns and 'pineapples' cos the old ones are too 'tattered and torn'. Now altho i am in sch , but i am yearning to go home fast. We will be like going to make the 5 xiang today and then ... we will be going out to walk walk again .(cant believe that supermarkets are so exciting at night, during the CNY season.LOL)Okie... enuff said. =)

Hmmmm ... then last night ard 12 plus am eh , i watched channel U a awhile before i bath . Saw this interview with the hip-hop-pers... Initially i have this thought that :'hey they must be mad sia ... why are they SO much into hip hop when i dun see anything in that culture.' But when they say that PASSION alone is not sufficient to describe their likings towards the hip hop culture. Hip Hop , is part of their life. Suddenly this phrase keeps me thinking. Thinking about the 'passion' i had been ranting all along, the craziness i had for Jingru. Hmmmm its the same isnt it ? most pple will think that I am crazy too . HAHA . But then if u are really devoted into something , what i can say is u wont be able to listen to what pple say and dont even bother about the kind of look that pple might give u. We will like to have pple to understand us , but if there isnt anyone supporting , we'll still go ahead .And to think abt it , Jingru is also EVERYWHERE ... a part of ME too . U can see her on my HP , Lappy, Room , file. everywhere. Heh ... 1 thing i must admit is .... at least hip hop is a culture... hmmmm how abt mine? my likings towards JR ? i have no answer to that . YET.

I rem weeks ago , RY said she impressed tat i'm so 'devoted' , 'faithful' , jin xin jin li , Watever ... towards JR. Well thanks. I am impressed by myself too. I guess this is natural de lar, since i'm already so into it le. Then i recalled wat Mas said to me over MSN few days ago that i am a JR-siao ... (ranking q. in front as compared to other members). I think i define siao in 2 different ways. I agree my likings is perhaps really more than many of them . BUT when it comes to 'chasing' part. I guess i am still q. 'conservative' as compared to some others. =)

Hmmmm ... after the visit to perion , we move anti-clockwise , to kerning city- ah cang's hometown.


I reached early and was waiting at the telephone booth . But Ah cang is waiting at the map there. I was totally blocked by the stairs ... Luckily i called her.


We were pondering outside the station where we shld go. Eventually i suggested that ahcang shld bring me to some of her childhood playground.


Heh ah cang brought me to Bz cafe first .She says she likes to visit this cafe whenever she went back hometown.


After that she brought me to somewhere which is good to watch the stars ... BUT. Sob Sob . I AM AFRAID OF HEIGHTS !!! Chou ah cang...


Then after that i request she shld bring me to the wpn shop first , cos i want to sell my ragged wpn that i bought in perion the other day. BUT !!! he says it doesnt worth a cent !!! GRRRR... look at ah cang ... xin zai le huo.


Humph... she laughed at me so i rush out of the shop and to hide ... Ah cang cannot find me ~~~ (hehe)


Ya she found me le lar ... but she want to bring me to a walk inside the sewage ... NAH !!! i dun want to go in !!! sure got lotsa ka zhua (cockroaches)


I suggested that we shld go hair salon instead. Oh man ... disaster !!! =( Ah cang saw it and strongly believe that i am being conned. LOL... then she went to help me 'steal' back the money ... Ah cang is a bandit mah


After that ah cang brought me to her grandpa's pharmacy. The moment we step in , he offer us with many types of herbal tea... yucks.... we went to hide instead...LOL


Anyway even grandpa says my hairstyle very chun-li . He suggested that i shld go buy some clothes to go with it ... So i went to shop for it ... But i think it is too expensive so i begged the owner... in the end ah cang shou bu liao i sa jiao , she foot the bill for me .


Then when we walk pass mr hong with my new set of clothes , Mr hong commented that i look cute and gave me a lantern ! Ah cang is jealous cos she didnt get anything . LOL


Haha ...yea....CNY fashion ...LOL ... we went to take a photo with cai shen.


Then she decided to go visit her sister- Nella. Hope that she will treat us to a meal or something ... The moment she saw Nella , she started to say cold jokes... Even Nella dou bu guan ta liaoz.Eh and Nella is not free to have dinner with us,so we have to settle on our own.


Ah cang says she dun have money le cos she paid that set of clothes for me. She suggested that we shld go steal ores and sell it ... (yes she has to show me how ... i am a warrior , dunno how to handle those situations)


Wah sey ... ah cang really li hai sia...No one can see her de lor...Wuhaha , with the money we decided to buy stuffs to ah cang house to eat.


We had BBQ ... look at our forks... cool eh ? HAha ah cang style of fish is bu cuo neh !!!


Hou lai ah cang ta bao-ed some food to go visit her master bat. Then i wear back my warrior clothes to show respect. Then her master hope to see us battle.. Hmmmm tho
i've dodged her strokes le but she is really fast in attack and i am still full frm the BBQ food. I lost


My punishment = wash toliet. Ah cang just sit and watch and xin zai le huo !


Hai i smelly smelly... today heng i brought more than enough clothes to change... HAHA ... changed and its my time to go home. Tml ... Tml ah cang will be coming to my hometown - Lith Harbour.
